We had some challenges for the guest bathroom because of limited space. If you recall, Ellen won the battle to put the big pie safe in your bathroom that she bought at a charity auction four or five years ago. We needed something compact and found this piece at an antique shop between Washington and Union. We liked it for its size and the crosspiece we'll use for a towel bar. Because it's small, we couldn't mount traditional hardware, so your faucets will emanate from the wall. Wall mount faucets leads you to a vessel on top, rather than inset, so now you know how we got there from here. The sink was acquired from the home show guy discussed in an earlier post from today. It was custom sized and took a long time to get. I actually thought he had disappeared with our money, it took so long. Out of the blue, he called and said he was driving to the border to pick it up and would ship it post haste. Although I don't consider integrity his long suit, he did in fact ship it as promised. I don't know about the border part, and don't really want to know, but we at least got what we paid for. We will mount a mirror over the vanity that is also being made by Rex Morton. Although we haven't seen his design, he's trying to try to pick up the pine cone theme of this room.
