The plumbers have plumbed Ellen's vanity, which is the entry to the master bath. My vanity and Ellen's were purchased at the Dusty Attic, a local antique shop. We also bought our dining room table and sideboard from them. They were very happy we stopped in to browse that day. It was Ellen's idea to use antique chests for the vanity. I admit to some skepticism, but I think this really looks nice and fits the overall impression our home will make. The sinks were purchased at a home show from a dealer purporting to offer handcrafted copper products imported from Mexico. I have no doubt they are, but I also have little desire to know more about them. Integrity is not the first word that leaps to mind when I recall the encounter. Nice job to Bond Plumbing for mounting the hardware. Ed at thespeedofwood.com, is going to cut the drawers to fit around the sinks in all of the vanities, so they will also offer the storage you expect in a bathroom vanity.
