Fireplace complete

The fireplace with shelving (almost one more at the top on the left needs to be inserted)....the pic doesn't really do it justice since the finish that Ed at thespeedofwood.com applied doesn't show up well in the photo. Ellen said that he emphasized it was a new varnish on the market that's also nearly indestructible. Its only kryptonite is vinegar. Remarkably beautiful lustre and the tone matches both the timbers and the mantel extremely well. Here's to Ed.
