Ok, so I've been utterly negligent in keeping things updated. You may have thought I made an executive decision to suspend the blog, but I'd never get away with that, mainly because I'm not the executive. This post is a peep (more than a tweet) that we're back in the blog business. On Friday, we reached agreement with a landscaper to begin the work of converting our muddy moonscape into something you'll like to see when you visit. We like the design and his choice of plants. In fact, I'd have to say the guy is psychic. Without talking to either Ellen or I, he included Redbud trees, holly and rhododendrum. Ellen was born in Redbud, IL and has always loved that tree. In fact, she had me plant one when we lived in Peoria. She also wanted to plant holly bushes here, because she loves the look, particularly around Santa time. I've always wanted rhododendrum, but had never lived anywhere that I could grow them successfully. Talk about earning bonus points! The big landscaping news though will be found in the hardscape. For that, we'll have photos and hope you'll like the plan as much as we do.
I've added a followers gadget, which will not only tell you when I get off my butt and do something, but also let me know if there's still interest out there. I encourage you to sign up if you're interested. In any event, we're back on the air!
