Yes, I do plan to post pics. First I have to find the SD adapter for the PC. Secondly, we have to get this place in some form of organization. Finally, I need the time. My workload has been very heavy lately despite the economic downturn. That is a blessing to be sure, and yes, I am seeing impact from the economy, but I still seem to have a lot of projects to design and position with our customers. We have a hard deadline of Easter Sunday to make this place presentable because Ellen's family will be joining us here. Things are frantic as a result. Our new pup Jett, is trying to help by chewing on boxes and spreading the refuse all over the house. That's his take on unpacking. Mom just arrived today and like Mom always does, is pitching in with all her might to help us organize.
We had a pleasant surprise on the job front. I was named Systems Consultant of the year for the Central Region (bounded by ND, KS, OH, MI and points between) and also selected for the Dell-wide Circle of Excellence. The latter comes with a trip to Cancun in May for Ellen and I. We weren't planning a vacation this year due to the house investment, so that makes us even more appreciative of this award. She'll be on the beach. I'll be in the Mayan ruins. We'll both be happy.
