The office desk was installed today. The top pic shows the interior. The top shelf will be used to store a full size keyboard and frequently used stuff. I had considered partitioning the main cavity, but opted to leave it open to give the maximum flexibility in monitor size and personal computer. The PC will ultimately be a small form factor, but I may want to add other peripherals one day. The wiring on the inside serve a switch to control the task lights mounted on either side of the desk and an electrical outlet. The third pic shows its slim profile, leaving most of this small room free for reading or just an uncluttered look. There will be drawers and shelves in the closet to hold supplies, wireless networking gear, a printer, etc.
