Ellen and my sister-in-law paid a nightime visit to the house. This is Lisa, her daughter Cassidy, and the balusters on our deck, which were installed today. Things are moving at a quick pace, but so is my work, so I haven't had a chance to post many updates.
We were supposed to have our colors picked out today. Hah! Oh yes, my sudden onset of color blindness was utterly rejected. I thought of mixing up my attire with an outrageous blend of color to make my case, but realized it would be hard to tell the difference from my normal appearance. So, I'm stuck with helping on the interior color choice. Ellen isn't that confident in me though. She hired an interior decorator today. When she told me, and after I closed both my mouth and eyes which had reflexively flew open, I asked a few questions. I learned she bills by the hour, appears to be very busy, and is consulting with McDonalds on remodeling a few of their restaurants. That made me regret my earlier idea for a muted gold color, even though it provides her with continuity between our gig and that of McDonalds. I really don't want 'The Golden Arches' to pop into your mind when you step inside, so I think I'll have to move off of gold. Want fries with that?
