Not much activity this week due to rain. The timbers arrive on the 29th. Ellen is planning festivities for that day, including a hot lunch with beverages for everyone who shows up. Riverbend has 5 prospects lined up to watch the raising. Ellen and I seem to have different attitudes toward Riverbend's guests. When they first asked me if it was ok, I said, "Sure. $5,000/head." Ellen is going to serve them lunch. I suppose we need to talk more often. Instead of $5,000 per person, it looks like the best I'll be able to do is $2.00 for a Sloppy Joe...50 cents extra for cheese.
I'll have the blog updated Wednesday night with beaucoup pictures, assuming all goes well and there's no major snag. Check back later this week!
