You may have noticed that I changed the banner to the blog. Now that Ellen calls it a house, I added a gallery photo of a timber configuration similar to the one we purchased. As the timbers go up, I'll substitute this photo for pics of our actual home.
The timbers are confirmed for delivery on October 28th! If all the representations are correct, we should have the timber frame erected within 5 days of its arrival. It is supposed to take another week or so to mount the SIPs and dry in the structure.
Riverbend is going to invite people from the area who have expressed interest in this kind of home to our raising. If any of you are interested and able, you're more than welcome too.
