This didn't happen exactly on our move date, but arrived two days later. A white Christmas will be pretty on our lot, I feel, but this snowfall served one important purpose. Directv installed their television dish on one of our peaks the day before. This snow put that out of action until it melted enough expose the dish. When Directv came back the next day to install our internet access, I insisted they mount the dish somewhere I could get to it to clean it off if necessary. The thought of our internet access being down for days because of a hard snow and cold temps that kept the dish obscured was just not acceptable. You'll see the Directv dish on the peak at the front of the house, and the internet access just over Ellen's door off the deck. I can get to that with a stepladder. I just hope I remember where the tech told me to put my hand and most importantly, where not to stick it.
