I saw the light...no more darkness...no more night
You'll get the full effect of this post if you hum the melody to that great spiritual, "I saw the Light," while you read it. Ellen is refinishing one of the antique chests we bought as a vanity. We started using an old palm sander that my Dad had owned, but it broke shortly after we started. It was really old. So, I bought an inexpensive new orbital sander for Ellen to use. She fell in love with its efficiency. Now she's looking for more things to sand and is after our butcher block cutting board...a cabinet in the garage....our current kitchen table. It's really more about what I can defend from her sanding assault than what needs to be sanded. She's truly seen the light and now understands men and their tools.
