SIPs...briefly

SIP installation has begun in earnest. These are a few shots that show how things are taking shape. The first two are views from the inside and out of the entries onto the deck for the dining room and the guest bedroom. We'll have french doors for all of these entry points. The last one surrounds the master bedroom. The big gap in the rear will be detailed with window openings. That wall will mainly glass. I'll have a better picture of it tomorrow, but the long vertical opening you see to the right of the master bedroom's french doors will hold a stained glass window my mother made. She originally crafted it as a side panel for one of her neighbor's entry doors. They have since replaced that door, so they returned it to her. She gave it to us. Ellen suggested incoporating it into the house and ultimately chose its location, both of which I thought were outstanding ideas. We are so proud to have something Mom made become a permanent part of this home!
