No pics today, since Ellen and I were both incredibly busy. We have more press buzz. Our builder is going to be interviewed by the local radio station, KSLQ 104.5, at 8 am on Friday morning to discuss the house. I'm glad it's the builder, rather than us. I hope it generates more business for him. He can use it in these times. Personally, I have mixed feelings. Yes, it's the first home of its kind in Franklin County, MO. We have the battle with the county that I recounted in earlier posts to prove it, so I guess it's newsworthy if you stretch the meaning of that word. On the other hand, I view it as an open invitation to anyone and everyone. I expect calls from salesmen to increase. Thieves may take an interest. Idle sightseers may overburden the lane. I dare not mention the other types of idiots that share this piece of planet with us. I try to keep a low profile at both work and home, but it looks like other forces are at work to prevent that. I went along with the press release to help Riverbend. I'm going along with this to help the builder. That's it though. I will definitely draw the line here. No more newspapers. No more radio. Certainly, no TV.
Peace Friend.
